Week 1: experiential learning in the classroom.
You will learn the theory of the learning curve, Design Thinking and Scrum. You will conduct multiple iterations to start getting up the learning curve of these world class problem solving and project leadership tools.
Week 2:Design Sprint Week
As a class we will discuss and select meaningful problems that we would like to solve in the community. Then as teams we will conduct a Design Sprint to research and develop solutions that are both useful to potential customers and also usable for them. This gives our solutions the best possible chance of adoption.
Week 3 is Sales and Fulfillment week
Teams will go up the learning curve of how to sell their solution to real customers. Each team member needs to sell to at least 10 customers. Assuming a conversion rate of 10%, each team member may have to approach 100 potential customers. Fulfillment means that the team needs to deliver against their promise. Be it a physical product, an event, a workshop or similar, by the end of week 3, the team will have delivered their first live iterations of their solution.
Week 4 is Adoption week
